In response to an ongoing and intensifying crisis in Lebanon, the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund is allocating $50,000 to an ACT Alliance emergency appeal. They will also be collecting donations at this time in support of the appeal.
The crisis between the Israeli Defense Force and Hezbollah has been escalating in Lebanon where each passing day brings more injuries and deaths on top of the displacement of over 1.5 million people.
On October 9, the Humanitarian Coalition announced an appeal with a $3 million match from the Government of Canada. PWRDF is a member of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, which is a part of the Humanitarian Coalition. Any donations made to the PWRDF's Lebanon Emergency fund will be matched as a part of this appeal. Donations must be made by November 3 to be eligible.
