Our donkey has made it to Bethlehem!

The Children's Ministry fundraising campaign has raised more than $140 and purchased a donkey for a family in Kenya through the PWRDF World of Gifts.

The donkey will carry fresh water for a family from a well that may be an hour or more away, reducing unpaid work for women and children while also providing a source of income by carrying water for others.

Thank you to the children who collected change in their donkey boxes and to all those who donated in the box at the back of the church.

If you still have a change box at home or would like donate to this fundraiser, not to worry, we will still be collecting Christmas Eve.

We hope to collect enough for a second donkey but if not we will purchase solar powered egg incubators ($25 each) to provide women in Kenya with food security by helping them raise chicks.
