PWRDF Wild Ride

The third annual Wild Ride launched on June 20. Our goal is to raise $65,000 to mark PWRDF's 65 years of accompanying displaced families around the world. The campaign runs until October 9 (Thanksgiving Day). Turn your favourite activity into a fundraiser! Whether you love cycling, baking, walking, or reading, you're invited to participate and support our partners working with refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). Join our PWRDF community of nine teams and 23 participants who have signed up and already raised $5,265 for the cause. Let's make a world of difference together!

Settlement and Outreach Worker! We are looking for a full-time settlement worker to join our staff team. The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and knowledge of the refugee claim process/local settlement services. Hamilton Out of the Cold. Hamilton Hurricanes SUPER FUNDRAISER!! 

Saturday, August 24th at 7:00pm at Tim Horton's Stadium!!!  Just buy a ticket to help raise $5000!

 The Hurricanes are trying to PACK THE PARK!!! They are aiming to beat the current OFC record of 3,500 people in attendance at their home opener football game of the season!! IF they beat the attendance record, they are planning on donating $5000.00 to HOOTC and Food 4 Kids mid way through the game at Tim Hortons Stadium!!!! 

Tickets are ONLY $5.00!!! If you are interested in purchasing a handful of tickets for you and your family, please email the office at hootc97@gmail.com and we will get the tickets to you on game day!!! We will meet you at the main entrance to Tim Hortons Stadium an hour before the game to give you your allotted tickets. 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
The Hurricanes would love our help to make this big event work! If you could spare some time on game day, they would like us to help with admissions (receiving tickets and patrons). We will likely help for 1.5 hours leading up to the game and then we can head in to enjoy the home opener for our awesome players! If you are able to volunteer, please email the office at hootc97@gmail.com and put "Hurricanes Volunteer" along with the number of volunteers you'll bring with you. eg. Hurricanes Volunteer - 2 

Although our office is technically closed for the summer, we could not pass up this amazing opportunity to receive financial support from The Hamilton Hurricanes!! Our email reply will be that our office is closed but we will check in and provide updates as needed for the big event!!
