Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario

The Provincial Synod meets every 3 years to pray and worship, share updates between dioceses, carry out required business, and engage in discernment about missional matters.  The next Synod will be held in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario in the Diocese of Algoma from September 24 through 26, 2024. Archbishop Anne Germond serves as the chair of Synod.

She writes :Join me as we pray for our Synod:

 “Almighty and ever living God, Give wisdom and understanding to the members of the Synod of this Province. Teach us in all things to seek first your honour and glory. May we perceive what is right, Have courage to pursue it, And grace to accomplish it, Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen” (A Prayer Book for Australia)
