Doors Open Hamilton and our Church

St. John's is going to be one of the sites for this year's Doors Open Hamilton, happening May 4-5. This year, the theme is music and there are some great sites to visit, you can see the posting about our church and the other Hamilton sites on the Doors Open Ontario website: Doors Open Ontario - Church of St. John the Evangelist

We have a handful of volunteers already, but are looking for a few more in two hour time slots between 10am-4pm both Saturday and Sunday. Please email Emma (emmacubitt@gmail.com) if you are able to help out. This is a great opportunity to meet others from the community and share all the great things about the Rock on Locke. Emma has been collecting the parish and architectural history resources and will create talking points for each of the volunteers. If you have anything you think should be shared, please let her know.
