Considering Loss and Damage for Climate Justice

On November 18, at 11:00 am, KAIROS Canada will host a virtual presentation and screen a new video, Coming Together for Climate Justice on Loss and Damage. 

Last year, the Canadian Government committed $16 million to establish a new Loss and Damage fund. This screening will elaborate on the importance of considering loss and damage funding and its role in climate justice. This discussion will include input from ecumenical and global partners attending this year's 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Participants will discover how you can advocate for increased Loss and Damage funding from the government of Canada.
