Canadian Council of Churches 2025 federal election guide

The Canadian Council of Churches has released a 2025 Federal Election Guide entitled Called to Be Salt and Light. This guide was prepared to help you form prayers for our country, voters, and leaders, discern how your faith shapes your priorities, engage candidates, participate in all-candidates meetings and community discussions, and give you the tools to encourage others to vote and reflect on their role in shaping Canada's future.

The guide covers a wide variety of topics that Canada faces right now, including reconciliation with indigenous peoples, anti-racism, poverty and homelessness, climate justice, sexual exploitation, public health care, and much more. 

As Anglicans, we understand we are called to protect our neighbours and our planet. The resources provided over these past three weeks offer a great deal of information to help you explore what Canada is facing today and in our future. We hope that by sharing these resources with your parishes and mission, Anglicans are better prepared to vote on April 28.
