All the science tells us: sleep is VERY important. But when we’re young, we all choose revelry over rest. Then we grow up, have responsibilities (or children), and it turns out we don’t get to choose much of anything.
Still, the most memorable nights, for better (and for much, much worse), seem to include very little sleep. There’s something there between that feeling, and some of the most entrancing music.. a bit ethereal, a bit delirious, or best case: both.
